This award is well-deserved. I discovered this tool yesterday, and it is one of the best pieces of software I have EVER used. From a usability and feature perspective, Shutter is as close to perfection as it gets. All the features you could possibly want from a screen capture tool are in Shutter, and – more importantly – they are easy to access. Making this available for free and open-source is true altruism.
I realize this comment sounds somewhat euphoric, but being a software developer myself I am just amazed at how well-designed Shutter is.
