We'll keep that in mind when creating new screencasts. The one above is pretty out-of-date.
Maybe someone has time to create new screencasts? Fell free to contribute...

Hi friends,
consider using .ogv video instead of flash or at least add download link to .flv video screencast, please.

Thanks.

By what I can tell, Shutter does not see content in an iframe. This ability is vital to make the utility complete when capturing web pages by URL.

Yes, you are right. Shutter is using gnome-web-photo to capture web pages. I'll file a bug for this in the upstream bugtracker. Thanks.

The editor can already load other pictures, try pressing the down arrow by 'Insert image:' and select 'from filesystem'.

I don't agree with the editor being stand-alone - it wouldn't make sense as it was designed specifically for screenshot editing and thus integration with a screenshot app is essential.

Awesome, wonderfull ;-)
This is a very lovely and usable piece of software. Thank you...
It would be a killer-feature, if in the edit-dialog coult be load other pictures and if the edit-part could started as an standalone-app. That would mean, thats an easy, lightwight picture-tool would be available in conjunction with a distinguished snap-shoot-tool. And that all for the lovely gnome-desktop...

Thanks at all - and all the best furthremore, good ideas in programming ;-)
