  1. Is it possible in Linux Mint to change “gnome screenshot” by this software ?

    • Vencorr

Just go into Keyboard Shortcuts in System Settings and add custom shortcuts with the commands to start certain screenshots (shutter -h) and then you can add shortcut keys such as PrtSc and such.

  3. Florin

Simply the best! A tool that you must have. It works perfectly in Lubuntu 14.04.

  4. Thanks a lot for the fantastic tool! Going to share the tool with my readers. Been looking for something like this that works on Ubuntu for a long time now!

  5. Shutter is one off the best screenshot tools. I have a blog and it is very convenient to make screenshots or designate a specific location in an image. It is a child’s play to cut out, and point out something with this tool.

the editor doesn’t work on linuxMint17 cinnamon .

    • Simone

      Hi GenierO,

have also Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon Edition running. Close Shutter first completely and open Terminal and type in
      sudo apt-get install libgoo-canvas-perl gnome-web-photo

Relaunch Shutter. Editor should be available now!
