Well, Shutter at its best: grabbing screenshots 😉
There are even more Screenshots available showcasing the different features of Shutter:
WOW!!!!! Its amazing. Seriously
Simply the best! A tool that you must have. It works perfectly in Lubuntu 14.04.
Thanks a lot for the fantastic tool! Going to share the tool with my readers. Been looking for something like this that works on Ubuntu for a long time now!
Shutter is one off the best screenshot tools. I have a blog and it is very convenient to make screenshots or designate a specific location in an image. It is a child’s play to cut out, and point out something with this tool.
the editor doesn’t work on linuxMint17 cinnamon .
have also Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon Edition running. Close Shutter first completely and open Terminal and type in
sudo apt-get install libgoo-canvas-perl gnome-web-photo
Relaunch Shutter. Editor should be available now!
Thank you very much.. very useful hint! it worked perfectly.
Thank you! It works for the latest Mint 18 too.
