Release of GScrot v0.50 is available!
* implemented new backend (gscrot does not depend on scrot anymore)
* zoom for free-hand screenshot
* gui changes
-- added a detachable toolbar (buttons are replaced)
* added translations
-- spanish
-- catalan
Excellent stuff. Only thing I could think of was 1) the inability to resize the window when in drawing mode and 2) undo feature when drawing 3) perhaps also possibility to draw simpler geometrical forms like squares, circles etc and also the ability to write on the picture.

While gscrot is very practically, I miss a “Textmarker”
A tool to highlite something with transperancy set to 50%.
And a tool to blurr some private datas.
I.e. in a terminal screenshot the ip-address should not be readable.
